About
Aimilia Balaska was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She studied Graphic Design, Interior Design, Photography & Visual arts.
She lives and works in Athens as a graphic designer, photographer and visual artist. Her background as a graphic designer enriches her practice, resulting in multidimensional projects that experiment with photography, various materials, objects and videos.
In 2022 he graduated with a Master of Arts in Photography & Visual Language scholarship from London MIddlesex University - Akto College. Her photographic work is part of private collections and art collection at the Museum of Photography of San Telmo in Spain and has been exhibited in museums in Greece including the Benaki Museum. She has taken part in exhibitions and online publications both in Greece and abroad.
